Ben Darrow, Lyman Memorial:

Darrow helped Lyman stay unbeaten by pitching a perfect game against Putnam in a 7-0 win.

Joe Gaetano, Foran: The right fielder was part of a 9-2 double play in the fifth inning, preserving a 0-0 tie then led off the 6th inning with a solo home run. He won the game in the 9th with a game-winning two-run home run, giving Foran a 3-2 win over East Haven.

Kyle Kipp, Westhill: The junior struck out 13 while allowing just one hit over 61⁄3 innings as Westhill defeated Trumbull 7-1.

Martin Zhang, Amity: Zhang struck out 14 and gave up 3 hits, going the distance as Amity beat Shelton 3-2.

Gabe Silva, Brookfield:

Silva had himself a week, bating .692 with two triples, a double and 5 RBIs while dominating on the mound with 24 strikeouts in 10 innings pitched, getting one win and one save while giving up just two hits.

Matt Clapps, McMahon: The senior hit a walk-off two-run home run to give the Senators a 6-5 win over Greenwich.

Nate Keefe, Killingly: Keefe went 4-for-4 with two doubles to lead Killingly over Stonington 4-2. He added two more hits against Windham, going 7-for-10 last week.

Matt Scott, Barlow: The Stanford-bound pitcher struck out 13, allowing four hits over six innings as Barlow defeated New Fairfield 9-1.

Noah Grace, Old Saybrook:

The senior struck out 8 over six innings, allowing one run in a 3-1 win against Morgan.

Zach Drewry, Woodland:

The senior had two home runs, a double, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored last week.

Tyler Gutsfeld, Westminste­r: Gutsfeld allowed one hit while striking out 8 and also hitting a home run at the plate in a 5-0 win over Hotchkiss.

GAMES TO WATCH

Waterford at Fitch, Tuesday, 4 p.m.: East Lyme took a little shine off this game by beating both teams last week but this remains a premier ECC matchup.

No. 1 Warde at No. 2 Ridgefield, Wednesday, 4 p.m.:

The No. 1 Mustangs get their biggest challenge yet with a trip to face the No. 2 Tigers. Get your peanuts and Crackerjac­ks.

No. 4 Staples at Greenwich, Wednesday, 4:30 p.m.: Only the second-best game in the FCIAC on this day but still one that will draw fans down to Greenwich.

Naugatuck at Woodland, Friday, 3:45 p.m.: While No. 8 St. Paul has establishe­d itself as the top team in the NVL, these two contenders are right behind the Falcons.

No. 3 Amity at Xavier, Friday, 7 p.m.: Palmer Field, Friday night, SCC rivals. What’s not to like?

No. 7 Brookfield at Barlow, Saturday, 4:15 p.m.: Brookfield (7-0) is the only unbeaten team in the SWC entering this week but a trip to rival Barlow will be the toughest test to date for the Bobcats.
