Calvary Church plans Harvest Festival
MILFORD — Calvary Alliance Church, 273 Orange Avenue, Milford, across from Orange Avenue Elementary School is holding its Harvest Festival at noon, Oct. 23. Activities include Trunk or Treat, a maze, a raffle, a medallion necklace craft, refreshments and fellowship. All are welcome.
Wreath sponsors wanted
ANSONIA — St Michael’s Catholic War Veterans of Derby and Assumption School of Ansonia are inviting people to sponsor a wreath for veterans’ graves in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Derby, for National Wreaths Across America Day Dec. 17. Members hope to have 800 wreaths.

Church launching capital campaign with concert
NEW HAVEN — The Episcopal Church of St. Paul & St. James in Wooster Square, New Haven will launch its Capital Campaign with a jazz-filled event in the sanctuary from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 28.
St. Paul’s Church has been active in the Wooster Square neighborhood ever since its founding in 1829. In 1992, St. Paul’s merged with St. James Church of Westville and has been known as “St. PJs” ever since.
