-

Diana Maturo, 93, a longtime resident of West Haven, died on January 27, 2023. Born on March 28, 1929, in Shelton, a daughter of the late Alfred and Delina (Payment) St. Arnault. Survived by loving children Cynthia (Thomas) Lion, Lisa (Carl) Bauer, and Mark Maturo; sisters Emelda Lion and Anita Loughrain; beloved grandchildren Michael (Grace), Danielle (David), and Jennifer (Antonio); as well as adored greatgrandchildren Cooper, Melissa, and Carson. In addition to her parents, Diana is preceded in death by her devoted husband of over thirty-years, William J. Maturo; sister MaryAnn Guercia; as well as brothers Ferdinand, Florian, and Robert St. Arnault.

Diana devoted many years of her professional life to Sikorsky Aircraft as a Harness Maker. She was a music enthusiast, as illustrated by her unending love for dancing along the West Haven Board Walk and attending musicals with friends and family. Taking long walks, collecting fairies and snowmen, her membership to the Aimes Point Club of West Haven, and the Christmas season all brought about joy; however, no greater joy was had by Diana than that of spoiling her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. She will forever remain in the hearts of those she knew.

Arrangements have been entrusted to West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 2nd, from 10 to Noon, at which time a service will commence in the funeral parlor. Interment will immediately follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
