Celine A. Sandor
Celine A. Sandor, 46, went to Heaven on January 23rd, 2023, after a short illness. Celine was born on August 31st, 1976, in Greenwich, Connecticut. She moved to Milford, Connecticut as a teenager and graduated from Joseph A. Foran High School, class of 1994. She went to on to attend Southern Connecticut State University, graduating with two bachelor’s degrees in 1998. She earned a Bachelor of Science: Education, and Bachelor of Arts: Studio Art. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in History from S.C.S.U. in 2011. Additionally, Celine earned a Master of Arts: Thinking and Learning from the Graduate Institute in Bethany, CT. While pursuing her studies, Celine completed a work study research paper outlining the impacts of American agriculture on sustainability.
Celine was a beloved teacher for 25 years in the Milford school system. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Sandor of Greenwich, brother Steve of
Cos Cob, sister Margaret (Peggy) of Monroe, nephews Steve and Henry, as well as multiple cousins. Interment will be at St. Mary-Putnam Cemetery in Greenwich,
CT. There will be a small service for immediate family members only. A memorial service to celebrate Celine’s life will be held at a later date. The family requests in lieu of flowers, please plant native flowers and plants that support bees and wildlife. Additionally, the family would request acts of service to honor Celine, such as donating or volunteering at an animal shelter.
Some people can’t be summed up in words. Their presence and impact on us are more a feeling or reverberation that they emanate. Celine radiated love, joy, kindness, and grace. Celine greeted every day with a smile, her heart filled with love and joy. Celine exemplified internal and external beauty, and her spirit was boundless.
