Hannah (Salzberg) Kuperstoch, 95, devoted wife of the late David Kuperstoch, died on Feb. 20, 2023. Born in Poland, Nov. 19, 1927, Hannah was the daughter of the late Joseph and Miriam Salzberg. Beloved mother of Miriam (and John) Ramadei of Cheshire and Debra Kuperstoch of New Haven. Cherished grandmothe­r of Joseph (and Jessica) Ramadei of Dover, MA and Leah (and Michael) Kovach of Westport, CT. Treasured great-grandmothe­r of Dash, Ruby, Rose, Cooper, Reese and Jacob. Beloved cousin, aunt and great-aunt to so many. The last of that wonderful generation.

A Holocaust camp survivor, an Israeli soldier in the War of Independen­ce, a Hebrew Teacher at Temple Beth Shalom for over 20 years, Recreation Coordinato­r at the Goodwin Levine Adult Day Center for 25 years and a good and kind friend to so many people, that was Hannah.

Funeral Services at Robert E. Shure & Son Funeral Home, 543 George St., New Haven on FRIDAY morning, Feb 24th at 11:00 o’clock with Interment Services to follow at the Farband Cemetery, Fitch St., New Haven.

A Period of Mourning will be observed at the home of Mim and John Ramadei, 355 Sorghum Ridge, Cheshire, Friday after the funeral, Shiva Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings at 7:00 pm.
