Anita A. Tarini

Anita A. (Casine) Tarini, age 76, entered peaceful rest on Sunday, March 5, 2023, in the comfort of her home, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Ronald G. Tarini Sr. Anita was born in Derby on February 3, 1947, daughter of the late Peter and Rose Cirillo Casine. A resident of Ansonia for fiftythree years, she worked as a hairdresser, prior to raising her family. Anita enjoyed dancing and oldies music, especially listening to Elvis Presley. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, ceramics, knitting and crocheting. Above all, family was most important to Anita. In addition to her husband Ron, she leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Ronald G. Tarini Jr. (Amy) of Milford and Peter Tarini (Kimberly) of Naugatuck, a daughter, Anita “Nina” Savarese (Richard Jr.) of Wallingford, grandchildren, Richard A. Savarese III of Wallingford, Vincent M. Savarese of North Haven, Kevin and Emma Tarini of Milford and Luke Tarini of Naugatuck, sister, Rosemary Casine of Derby and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Anthony J. Savarese, brothers, Peter and James Casine and sisters, Josephine O’Donnell, and Margaret Casine. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Thursday, March 9, 2023, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Her funeral will then proceed to Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
