Learn more about the Catholic faith and divorce
NORTHFORD — Many Catholics have asked the following questions about the Church’s position on divorce, annulments, and marriage:
Can a divorced person receive Communion? Can a divorced person marry in the Catholic Church? Why might a nonCatholic consider or need an annulment? Does a divorced person need an annulment when the marriage was performed by a Justice of the Peace?
Often these questions and others have been met with misleading, misguided and sometimes wrong responses. A program at St. Monica Church Hall, 1320 Middletown Avenue, Northford begins at 7 p.m. on Oct. 29, where these and other questions can be answered.
