Atlantic City and Myrtle Beach trips

Horizons Travelers and Diamond Tours are offering the following spring trips:

⏩ Aug. 12-13: Atlantic City bus trip features a night stay at the Tropicana, with a visit to the Resorts Casino on the second day; one meal voucher, casino slot play. Bus will stop for breakfast (on your own) on the way to N.J. Cost is $125 per person, double occupancy, $105 per person triple; single occupancy available. A $25 deposit is required to hold a seat. Bus departs at 7:30 a.m. from Miller Library parking lot, 2901 Dixwell Ave. in Hamden, with a second pickup at 8:15 a.m. at the commuter lot off Exit 40 of Interstate 95 in Milford. Bingo and movies on the bus.

⏩ Sept. 14-18: Niagara Falls and Toronto bus trip. Includes guided tours of Niagara Falls and Toronto, Hornblower Niagara Cruise, gaming at Fallsview Casino, Casa Loma Castle in Toronto, Niagara on the lake and Queen Victoria Park. Cost is $465 per person double occupancy, $445 per person triple, single occupancy available. Price includes 4 nights lodging, 4 breakfasts, 4 dinners; a $75 per person deposit reserves a seat. Departs from the Commuter lot at Interstate 95 Exit 40 in Milford at 8 a.m., with another pickup at 8:30 a.m. at the Miller Library parking lot, 2901 Dixwell Ave. in Hamden.

⏩ Oct. 19-24: Myrtle Beach show trip, features 5 nights’ lodging, 8 meals, 3 evening shows (Legends in Concert, Carolina Opry and Alabama Theatre), 2 daytime shows at the Asher Theatre and Calvin Gilmore Theatre, shopping and dining at the Barefoot Landing, Myrtle Beach boardwalks and promenade and a vist to L.W. Paul Living History Farm. Cost is $610 per person, double occupancy. A $75 deposit is required to hold a seat. Bus departs at 8 a.m. from Miller Library parking lot, 2901 Dixwell Ave. in Hamden, with a second pickup at 8:30 a.m. at the commuter lot off Exit 40 of Interstate 95 in Milford.
