St. Andrew’s provides services, food pantry

NORTHFORD — St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 1382 Middletown Avenue, Northford, at the intersection of routes 17 and 22.

St. Andrew’s is a member of the Middlesex Area Cluster Ministry (MACM) Network, along with Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Killingworth and St. James Episcopal Church in Higganum. The Rev. Jim Bradley is interim priest-in-charge.

Due to the COVID pandemic, Sunday services are held on Zoom, and may also be viewed on St. Andrew’s Facebook page.

ANSONIA — Christ Episcopal Church at 56 South Cliff St., Ansonia, is collecting clean bottles and cans.

Clean bottles and cans can be dropped off in the collection bin next to the office entrance.

Clothing donation shed temporarily closed

NORTH BRANFORD — St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church has temporarily closed its clothing donation shed, according to a statement.

St. Andrew’s partners with St. Pauly Textile to redistribute the clothing donations to people in need around the world.

“Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in difficulty redistributing the clothing due to international border closings and other issues.
