The West Haven Senior Center is offering a bus trip to Foxwoods Resort Casino July 13. No casino packages are offered at the moment; cost is $30 per person, with payment due by June 10.
Bus will depart at 8:30 a.m. from the Savin Rock Conference Center parking lot, 6 Rock St., and depart at 3 p.m. from Foxwoods.
The casino requires face masks for guests who are not fully vaccinated. Buffets are closed.

Head to Newport
The West Haven Senior Center is offering a trip to Breakers Mansion in Newport, R.I., May 10. Trip includes a self-guided tour of the 70-room mansion that served as a summer home for the Vanderbilt family. Have lunch at Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant with free time to shop in downtown Newport.
Bus leaves at 9 a.m. from the Savin Rock Conference Center and departs Newport at 4 p.m. Cost is $119 and includes transportation, admission to mansion and lunch.
The venue lists current safety guidelines as: All guests must wear masks, social distancing is mandatory and flow of visitors will be supervised in accordance with CDC guidelines. The bus driver will be wearing a mask but travelers are not required to wear masks. Note: For the best tour experience, download the app before your visit and bring your ear buds.
