Around 5:30 p.m., he’ll head toward a fund-raiser at the Waldorf Astoria on Park Ave. using Fifth Ave., creating traffic gridlock on Fifth Ave. At 6:30 p.m., he’ll use Broadway to head south, causing closures east and west as he drives to a fund-raiser thrown by Bill Clinton at The New Amsterdam Theatre on W. 42nd St. Traffic is sure to be closed off between Eighth and Seventh Aves. At 11 p.m., he’s due to head back to his Wall Street helipad. For updates, follow me at www.twitter.com/GridlockSam.

What is a driver to do when there’s only one muni meter within a block, and it's broken or missing? Donald Gilman, Bronx Dear Donald,

There are usually four meters on the block, two on each side. If there's no muni meters on your block, walk to the nearest block where there’s a meter and buy a ticket or risk getting one. Gridlock Sam
