For more than 100 years, St. Brendan School has been providing a quality Catholic education to its students. St. Brendan School will educate the spirit as well as the intellect. Our environment emphasizes Christian values and creates an atmosphere that fosters responsibility and requires courtesy.
Catholic schools were once considered only for Catholic students. Now, however, Catholic schools welcome all students who want a challenging education in an environment of love, trust and loyalty. To that end, we offer a full-day pre-K 4 through eighthgrade education.
Here at St. Brendan School, you can be assured that your child will receive a strong academic education in a structured surrounding intended to have lasting value. St. Brendan School embraces the following basic fundamentals: reading and literature, grammar, writing, spelling and vocabulary, mathematics, science, social studies, religion (moral direction, family life and Christian service,) music, art, physical education and computer skills. All subjects are aimed toward the development of the entire student.
Self-discipline, responsibility and selfmotivation are among the benefits of our school. Teaching the whole child is a priority, and lessons in courtesy, respect and responsibility will be part of your child’s daily life here.
We offer early drop-off for breakfast program, and after school services available. A partnership with Education Through Music enables every child to receive weekly inschool music instruction.
Extracurricular activities at Saint Brendan School include Girl Scouts, basketball, chess, choir and bell chorus.
We place the teachings of the Catholic faith at the core of the curriculum so that religious values permeate all subject areas. The aim of these classes is the total moral development of each child. Students take what they learn and apply it to everyday life. When the lessons of right and wrong are learned at home, it is then reinforced in school, where the impact is so much greater.
