Customers Find Peace of Mind at Church Avenue Pawn Shop

-

For 50 years, Church Avenue Pawn Shop has offered its customers the kind of peace of mind that comes from knowing they’ll be able to cover their living costs, should the need ever arise for last-minute help in the form of a collateral loan.

The family owned-and-operated business is located at 2240 Church Avenue between Flatbush and Bedford avenues in the Ditmas Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. The pawn shop’s current location used to be a bank, and its vault has been repurposed to securely store the items customers’ pawn in exchange for their collateral loans. This ensures that their precious valuables are safe, protected and remain on site instead of being sent out to secondary storage location.

The store specializes in issuing loans in exchange for jewelry, watches and diamonds, but will issue loans for often times overlooked items like broken chains or unmatched earrings. With the price of gold so high today, it’s a great asset you want to hold on to, which is why a collateral loan, as opposed to an actual sale of your valuables can be a better investment that’s able to be pawned and repawned if the need for a collateral loan ever arises again in the future.

The shop has earned an honest reputation

for over 50 years.

Church Avenue Pawn Shop’s staff prides itself on excellent customer service and enjoys being able to help people out when they’re in a spot and need assistance.

They’re willing to work with customers to ensure they don’t lose the items they’re using to acquire a loan. This means, at times, holding on to collateral longer than any other pawn shop in the area, up to nine months.

Before moving to its current location on Church Avenue, the shop was originally located on E. 18th St. As community need for collateral loans grew and expanded, so did Church Avenue Pawn Shop. Not only did they relocate the original store to a larger location on Church Avenue, but they also opened up a second pawn shop at 1313 Fulton Street between New York and Nostrand avenues in Brooklyn’s Bed-Stuy neighborhood.

The staff at Church Avenue Pawn Shop credit being opened for 50 years to the honest, transparent way they operate the business. They’ve built their reputation on it. Should you be in a bind at any time, the shop is open seven days a week.
