JON HAMM and Jennifer Westfeldt had a sad end to summer when they confirmed they were splitting after 18 years together — but the fallout reached all the way to one Los Angeles restaurant.
Hamm and Westfeldt were such regulars at Little Dom’s in Los Feliz that the trendy eatery had named a booth after them — and even drilled a special metal nameplate onto it with the installation date, Jan. 1, 2013. We’re told the couple, who claim they will continue on as best friends, were beloved patrons of Dom’s, and even celebrated the “Mad Men” hunk’s most recent birthday March 10. “The were so beloved, management wanted to honor their relationship with their own booth,” one restaurant

Despite Hamm and Westfeldt’s move to Splitsville, management says it has no plans to take down the nameplate. “Jon and Jennifer hung out here all the time,” says our source. “Their table was actually like a tourist spot for locals. Since (the breakup), Jon has not been in as much.” On Sept. 7, Hamm and Westfeldt released a joint statement that suggested that their breakup was amicable. “With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history,” the statement said. “We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward.”
The pair was last spotted together at the afterparty for the premiere of Netflix’s of “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp,” back July 22. Confidenti@l reported this week that the duo just couldn’t get on the same page when it came to having kids — Westfeldt wanted them, but Hamm liked the status quo, insiders said. “They were definitely not on the same page,” the source said.
