One kills pedestrian; second injures woman
A DRUNKEN BMW driver fatally struck a man in Washington Heights early Saturday — hours after the driver of another BMW critically injured a woman in Brooklyn and fled the scene, police said.
In the fatal incident, Jonathan Segura, 34, was exiting the George Washington Bridge when he crashed into a man and a woman, both 46, on W. 181st St. near Amsterdam Ave., officials said.
He then lost control of the luxury car and struck a Ford F-150 before speeding off, cops said.

V He was charged with vehicular manslaughter, criminally negligent homicide, leaving the scene of an accident and drunken driving. His arraignment was pending Saturday evening.
A few hours earlier, another BMW slammed into a woman in Brooklyn as she tried to cross the street to get into a livery cab, officials said.
The 27-year-old victim, whose name was not released, was crossing Rodney St. near Hope St. in Williamsburg when the silver-colored BMW struck her about 1:15 a.m., cops said.
She was rushed to Bellevue H Hospital in critical condition w with head trauma.
The driver of the 2000 BMW 3 323i sped off and has not been c caught, cops said.
The two crashes came in the w wake of City Hall reporting re record drops in pedestrian fataliti ties.
The number of traffic-related fa fatalities fell to 231 in 2015 from 2 257 in 2014 — a drop of about 10% officials said.
Mayor de Blasio said 2015 was the safest on city streets since 1910 — and credited his Vision Zero initiative, which aims to eventually reduce traffic-related fatalities to zero.
