8 p.m. (Ch. 4) American Ninja Warrior The third annual competitio­n pits five-member teams from America, Japan and Europe against one another in Las Vegas, where they tackle the first three stages of Mount Midoriyama, the four-stage finals course.

MONDAY

8:30 p.m. (Ch. 4) Telenovela Awkward! Mimi and Ana are shocked to discover a sexy picture of Ana hidden under the mattress of Mimi’s oldest son, so they try to decide how best to have “the talk” with the boy Jadyn Douglas (r.) stars as Roxi.

TUESDAY

10 p.m. on (FX) The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story Jeffrey Toobin’s book about the former football star’s trial is the source of this new, limited-run series. Cuba Gooding Jr. stars as Simpson.

WEDNESDAY

8 p.m. (Ch. 7) Madoff A name synonymous with investment fraud is the basis of this miniseries, concluding the next night. Oscar winner Richard Dreyfuss stars as Bernie Madoff in the drama, a collaborat­ion between ABC’s entertainm­ent division and its news department. To that end, a book about Madoff by ABC reporter Brian Ross was a prime source for the teleplay.

THURSDAY

9 p.m. (LIFE) Project Runway: Jr. The freshman class of young designers in this spinoff to “Project Runway” prepares for its graduation in the finale to Season 1, which has seen some pretty sophistica­ted designs given the ages of the contestant­s (13 to 17).

FRIDAY

8 p.m. (Ch. 5) Sleepy Hollow Jenny and Crane (Lyndie Greenwood, Tom Mison, left) find themselves at a near-total loss after Abbie’s (Nicole Beharie) huge sacrifice as the series returns with its winter premiere, a new episode called “One Life.”

SATURDAY

8 p.m. (Ch. 7) Republican Debate Scant days before the high-profile Feb. 9 New Hampshire primary, ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir and ABC News reporter Martha Raddatz serve as moderators for this live debate from St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. As in the previous GOP debates, front runners for the Republican presidenti­al nomination will have another opportunit­y to sell themselves to voters.
