DONALD TRUMP is promising to clean up his foulmouthed act.

The Republican presidential candidate, infamous for his salty language on the campaign trail, said Thursday he was d dropping the four-letter words to please his aud dience.

“I went to the best school. I was the best stud dent, ”Trump (l.) said in a radio interview on “In t the Morning” on WOR 710.“I dothis for effect.”

Expect it to end soon. “As we get closer, you w will be shocked at how presidential I will be,” he s said to hosts Len Berman and Todd Schnitt. ““You will be very proud of me.”

Trump has dropped several s-bombs on the c campaign trail — including vows to “bomb the s--t” out of ISIS, and this week, when he repeated an insult that an audience member hurled at his GOP rival Ted Cruz on Monday. “She said, ‘He’s a pussy,’ ” a smiling Trump said. Speaking on Thursday, Trump also had unkind words about the Rev. Al Sharp ton, who met with Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders on Wednesday.

After saying he had a “good relationship” with Sharpton, Trump continued ,“With Al, it’s ac on job, everybody understands .” He added ,“I’ m amazed he gets away with it .”

Asked if Sharpton ever tried to “shake” him down, Trump refused to answer. “I won’t say whether he tried, but he was never successful,” he said.

Reached for comment, Sharpton sent two pictures of himself with Trump at events, and said The Donald attended National Action Network events “ofhis own free will.”

“He ought to concentrate more on Gov. (John) Kasich and Jeb Bush and not try toget into a match with me. I won’t take the bait,” he said. “I guess Donald will be asking for my birth certificate next,” he said, referring to the mogul’s “birther” campaign against President Obama.
