“I live with our Constituti­on. I love our Constituti­on. I cherish our Constituti­on. We’re making it territoria­l. We have nations and we’ll come out, I’m going to be coming out over the next few weeks with a number of the places,” he added, before singling out France as a nation whose immigrants he would want to subject to “extreme vetting.”

And in a particular­ly eyeopening aside, Trump suggested he wasn’t averse to setting up PACs to take on Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who have both refused to endorse his bid.

Kasich did not meet with Trump during the Republican convention in Cleveland, and Cruz spoke at the convention, calling on delegates to “vote their conscience.”

“It’s not the No. 1 thing on my mind,” Trump said. “With that being said, yeah, I’ll probably do a super PAC, you know, when they run. Against Kasich . . . against Ted Cruz, and maybe one other person that I’m thinking about.”
