‘Great’ only at bankruptcies

- BY RICH SCHAPIRO

HILLARY CLINTON rolled out a fleet of scathing attack lines Friday as she and veep candidate Tim Kaine kicked off a bus tour through battleground states.

In her first rally since accepting the Democratic presidential nomination Thursday night, Clinton turned Donald Trump’s signature slogan on its head.

“I find it highly amusing that Donald Trump talks about make America great again,” Clinton said in front of a packed crowd at Temple University in Philadelphia.

“He doesn’t make a thing in America, except bankruptcies.”

Clinton looked refreshed after delivering a soaring convention speech some 14 hours earlier.

The former secretary of state said the two conventions highlighted the “stark choice” facing voters.

“If you listened really closely to the Republican convention, you know that Donald Trump talked for 75 minutes and didn’t offer one solution,” said Clinton, who was joined onstage by former President Clinton, Kaine and his wife, Anne.

“In fact, his speech, his whole convention, seemed more about insulting me than helping the American people.”

Clinton pledged that in her first 100 days she would “break through the gridlock in Washington” to deliver the biggest investment in jobs since World War II.

“I’m also going to pay special attention to those parts of our country that have been left out and left behind,” she added.

Speaking earlier, Kaine also hit Trump over his convention speech.

“It wasn’t a tour of this country,” Kaine said. “It was a journey through Donald Trump’s mind, and that’s a very frightening place.”

The candidates’ three-day bus tour will take them through western Pennsylvania and Ohio.
