A-Rod’s got Talent!

-

SEATTLE — The second phase of Alex Rodriguez’s career has officially begun.

Greater Talent Network, an agency that represents speakers from the worlds of business, politics, technology, entertainment, literature and sports, announced Tuesday that A-Rod had signed on with the agency for exclusive representation.

A-Rod’s bio on the agency’s web site lists him as “Former Professional Baseball Player for the New York Yankees & Founder of AROD Corp.” It also notes that he “now serves as a senior adviser to Hal Steinbrenner.”

A-Rod played his final game for the Yankees on Aug. 12, and while it remains a possibility that he could suit up for another team next spring, his publicist, Ron Berkowitz, said last week that the 41-year-old will not play again in 2016.

In case you’re wondering what “A-ROD Corp.” is, the agency’s site describes it as “a private holding company with businesses in the U.S. and Latin America,” adding, “Under his leadership, Mr. Rodriguez has turned AROD Corp into a significant investment vehicle focusing on several growth sectors including real estate, high-end fitness centers, and automotive dealerships.”

A-Rod is expected to return to Fox Sports for a second straight year to work as a studio analyst for this year’s World Series.
