A CLEANING CREW supervisor was shot in the leg and robbed of $2,000 when she showed up to pay employees working in a Union Square building early Saturday.

The 55-year-old victim had just arrived to pay employees working in an office building on Fifth Ave. near W. 18th St. when a gunman in the building’s hallway demanded her purse about 12:30 a.m.

The woman struggled with the creep, who blasted her in the left leg before running off with about $2,000 cash meant for the cleaners.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Bellevue Hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.

The shooter, who appeared to be in his 50s, ran off to an awaiting dark-colored Mercedes, which sped off.

At least two shell casings were found in the hallway, cops said.
