But Trump’s lies are yuuuge and crazy

ship) would be a good deal.”

Clinton called TPP the “gold standard” of trade deals in 2012, when as secretary of state she advocated for it, before flip-flopping to oppose it as a candidate. She didn’t say she hoped it would be the gold standard — she said that it was.

“You’ve been fighting ISIS your entire adult life.”

Hyperbole at best. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria grew out of Al Qaeda in Iraq, a group that sprang up in the wake of the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003. Clinton was born in 1947.

“Under the current mayor, crime has continued to drop including murder” in New York City since stop-and-frisk was greatly reduced.

“You’re wrong, you’re wrong, murders are up.”

They’re both partly right. Murders are down 4.3% this year to date. NYPD spokesman Peter Donald pointed out as much on Twitter during the debate, writing “Stop question & frisk has decreased nearly 97% in NYC since ’11. Crime, murder, & shootings have decreased significantly during same period.” But they’re up 7.9% over the past two years. Overall, there hasn’t been a dramatic shift in the New York City murder rate since “stop-and-frisk” was severely reduced. “Donald supported the invasion of Iraq.”

“Wrong, wrong, wrong . . . . I did not support the War in Iraq, that is mainstream media nonsense put out by her.”

Right, right, right. Trump supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq — as he conceded, he said, “Yeah, I guess so” — before turning on it in 2004 after more than a year of silence. NBC News moderator Lester Holt called him on it during the debate. Trump is “someone who said pregnancy is an inconvenience to employers.” “I never said that.” Bald-faced lie. Trump in a 2004 NBC interview said pregnancy is “a wonderful thing for the woman, it’s a wonderful thing for the husband, it’s certainly an inconvenience for a business. And whether people want to say that or not, the fact is it is an inconvenience for a person that is running a business.”

“Almost every lawyer says you don’t release your returns until the audit is complete.”

Trump has claimed he’s under audit by the IRS as a justification for not releasing his tax returns, but most tax attorneys say there’s no reason he can’t release them — especially the ones before the audit, which he’s also refused to release.
