BIGOTED BULLY Donald Trump had managers at one of his golf clubs in Southern California fire female employees whose looks didn’t measure up to his standards and replace them with women he found attractive, court documents made public Thursday revealed.

The documents, from a 2012 labor lawsuit against the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, came out just days after Trump doubled down on sexist comments about a former Miss Universe winner’s weight, which were raised by Hillary Clinton at Monday’s presidential debate.

The lawsuit, unearthed by the Los Angeles Times, include damning observations by former employees of the Trump-owned club regarding his overt preference for women he deemed appealing.

“I had witnessed Donald Trump tell managers many times while he was visiting the club that restaurant hostesses were ‘not pretty enough’ and that they should be fired and replaced with more attractive women,” Hayley Strozier, the club’s catering director until 2008, said in a sworn declaration included in the suit.

“Donald Trump always wanted good-looking women working at the club,” Sue Kwiatkowski, a former restaurant manager at the club, said in another sworn declaration included in the suit. “I know this because one time he took me aside and said, ‘I want you to get some good-looking hostesses here. People like to see good-looking people when they come in.’ ”

The allegations in the suit brought condemnation of Trump by employee advocacy groups and women’s rights organizations.

“We are appalled by reports that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump allegedly ordered women staff members at his resorts and golf courses fired if they were not ‘pretty enough,’ ” said Saru Jayaraman, co-founder of the Restaurant Opportunities Center, a nonprofit focused on worker and wage advocacy issues.

“For decades, Mr. Trump has consistently demonstrated ignorance, sexism, and misogyny. He is aided by policymakers and a restaurant industry that allow employers past treatment of women who he like Mr. Trump to get away has called “pigs” and “dogs.” with these kind of practices by upholding At Monday’s debate, Clinton a subminimum wage system,” pointed out Trump had called Alicia Jayaraman said. And on Wednesday night, despite harsh backlash from the comments for the campaign, Newt Gingrich, a top surrogate and adviser to Trump once again harped on Machado.

“You’re not supposed to gain 60 pounds during the year that you’re Miss Universe,” Gingrich told a group of Republican lawmakers.
