NEW DETAILS emerged Tuesday about a 5-week-old girl who died suddenly at home in Queens.

Sources said before little Sophia Garcia died in Queens Village, she was fed at about 12:30 a.m. Monday by her mother, who then let the baby sleep on a foam pillow between her and her husband at about 2:30 a.m.

The baby’s father, Kevin Garcia, went to bed about 1 a.m. He woke up around 3 a.m. and saw that Sophia wasn’t breathing, sources said.

He called 911 while the infant’s mom, Sagine Pierre-Lys, tried to revive her with CPR, sources said.

Sophia was taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where she died at 4:48 a.m., sources said.

She had no trauma on her body, or evidence of any injury, police said.

The city medical examiner has yet to say how Sophia died. The parents did not have any history with child welfare and they have never been arrested, sources said.
