Benghazi facts

-

Howard Beach: To Voicer Nick DeBellis and other victims of Benghazi derangement: Three simple facts: 1) Benghazi is six hours ahead of D.C. The attacks began, not at 3 a.m., but late afternoon Washington time. No one was asleep. 2) Before Benghazi, the Republican-controlled House repeatedly denied State Department requests for increased spending on embassy security in their obsessive pursuit of budget cuts. After the attack, those same conservatives wasted tens of millions of dollars on eight redundant investigating committees. 3) Congress spent more time investigating Benghazi, which caused four dead in a foreign country, than on inquiries following Pearl Harbor and 9/11 combined. Those eight congressional committees, all those man-hours and dollars, found nothing new and offered no solutions. They failed in their real purpose — embarrassing Hillary Clinton — with an exclamation point coming on Nov. 8. Joseph A. J. Felcon
