Rshortstop Derek Jeter suited up for the 20th Annual Turn 2 Foundation Dinner, where he appeared shocked to learn that his bachelorhood had ever been point of a discussion. “Why do you stress ‘finally?’ ” he said defensively when Confidential tried to ask what was life was like now that he’s “finally” married. When it was explained to the 42-year-old future Hall of Famer (photo) that his dating life was frequently in the news before he settled down with Hannah Davis four months ago, he seemed surprised. “Oh, is that right?” Jeter asked, repeating: “Finally!” Much the way Jeter ignored discussion of his exploits as a bachelor while he was a Yankee, he’s not sweating too much over questions about when he and Davis might start a family. “Well, I never answered questions about my personal life so it’s really not nagging to me, I just say no comment,” he said.
