‘KARD’ GAME

Kim, Khloé, Kourtney bid to stop Chyna name change

- BY NANCY DILLON

KIM, KHLOÉ and Kourtney are going to war with Blac Chyna over their most tightly held asset — the Kardashian name.

The sisters threw down the gauntlet Thursday in a legal filing meant to block their brother’s fiancée from trademarking the name Angela Renee Kardashian — a variation on her current legal name, Angela Renee White.

Chyna, who gave birth to her and Rob Kardashian’s first child, Dream, last month, filed for the trademark on May 3 and seemed to be getting along with her future sister-in-laws when she posted party pics with Kim and Khloé back in June.

She even held hands with family matriarch Kris Jenner in a mannequin challenge video taken in her hospital delivery room.

But the sisters made it clear they’re not about to cede control and let her cash in on their world-famous brand.

“The applicant is deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity of opposers’ Kardashian marks,” said their notice of opposition, filed with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The sisters said the Angela Renee Kardashian name “is likely to cause confusion, or to cause mistake, or to deceive consumers,” and it’s not fair they will have “no control” over Chyna’s use.

In the filing reviewed by the Daily News, the sisters claimed they “will suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill if the opposed mark is allowed to register.”

Attempts to reach Chyna’s lawyer, Walter Mosley, were not successful Wednesday.

The opposition filing was first reported by TMZ.com. Chyna has until Jan. 10 to file her reply.

Chyna’s complex relationship with the Kardashian-Jenner crew includes a young son she has with rapper Tyga, the longtime boyfriend of youngest sister Kylie Jenner.

White also is close friends with model Amber Rose, the ex-girlfriend of Kim’s husband, Kanye West. In their filing, the Kardashian sisters touted their highly successful reality TV shows, retail ventures and best-selling autobiography “Kardashian Konfidential” to set themselves apart from Chyna. “Kim, Khloé and Kourtney are models, entrepreneurs, fashion icons,” their filing said.
