Shock vid of stabbing on subway
COPS RELEASED cell phone footage on Sunday showing a fight that led to the stabbing of a 19-year-old on a subway in Brooklyn.
A hulking assailant stabbed the teen in the stomach with an unknown weapon after an argument on a Queens-bound J train just after 3 p.m. Saturday, police said.
The wounded young man stumbled off the train once it reached Chauncey St.-Broadway station, officials said. His attacker (inset) remained on the subway.
Medics rushed the teenager to Brookdale University Medical Center, where he was in stable condition.
The video, taken by a straphanger and released by police, shows the struggle between the assailant and his victim moments before the stabbing.
A sharp object can be seen in the hand of the attacker in the video.
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying him.
He is described as black, between the ages of 25 and 35, 5-feet-8 and 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing yellow work boots, a gray hooded jacket and blue jeans.
