Body found in river

COPS RECOVERED the body of a man found floating in the East River near the Manhattan Bridge on Saturday, officials said.

The unidentified man, believed to be in his 50s, was found floating off Catherine Slip about 12:45 p.m. An NYPD boat took the body to Pier 16. An autopsy has been slated to determine how the man died.
