Sox’s Price not right, sent to arm specialist

-

Boston’s $217 million pitcher is off to see Dr. James Andrews.

David Price, who is in the second year of his massive, sevenyear pact with the Red Sox, will have an MRI on his left elbow and the renowned orthopedist will review the results, Boston manager John Farrell said.

Price was feeling forearm pain on Tuesday, Farrell said, leading to the MRI. He threw a simulated game that day and was expected to make his spring debut on Sunday.
