Sicko simulates sex with statue of ‘Fearless Girl’

MEET THE WORM of Wall Street.

A sleazy, suit-clad man defiled a bronze statue of a young girl meant to signify female power a day after International Women’s Day, sparking outrage.

A photo of the man (pictured), who is seen pretending to hump the “Fearless Girl” statue recently installed near the iconic charging bull statue in Bowling Green Park near Wall St., quickly went viral.

Architectural designer Alexis Kaloyanides snapped the picture Thursday night — a day after International Women’s Day — and posted it to Facebook and Instagram, sparking a storm of indignation and furious comments.

“Almost as if out of central casting, some Wall Street finance broseph appeared and started humping the statue while his gross date rape-y friends laughed and cheered him on,” Kaloyanides captioned the picture. “He pretended to have sex with the image of a little girl. Douchebags like this are why we need feminism.”

The statue, a defiant-looking girl with her arms akimbo, was installed Tuesday by asset management company State Street Global Advisers, as part of its new campaign to push companies to add more women to their boards.

Kaloyanides’ picture drew dozens of reactions, even from Mayor de Blasio and First Lady Chirlane McCray.

“Simulating sexual assault — especially on a statue of a very young girl — is not funny,” McCray tweeted Saturday. De Blasio retweeted his wife’s comment and added a comment of his own: “This is rape culture.”

Some wondered if the culprit was enjoying the online attention.

“This guy probably thinks this pic being shared so much makes the joke better and is proud he’s riled up the woman folk so thoroughly,” wrote Rat Gregfield.

Other shared their hopes that the gyrating jerk is identified.

“Disgusting! I hope this gets seen by his boss and his a-- gets fired,” Jodie Katon wrote. “But more importantly folks need to take a moment and question a culture where someone would think this ok.”

Kaloyanides, 34, of Jackson Heights, Queens, said she was glad that the photo was riling people up.

“There were people there, a family with a young girl who was posing with the statue, and everyone was talking about empowering children and women and the overall political climate,” she told the Daily News.

“There’s a perpetuation of rape culture and this ‘boys will be boys attitude’ — it’s disgusting,” she said. “It’s nothing that should be celebrated. It’s not funny and the fact that this guy was showing his entitlement, defiling the statute. . . it was utterly revolting.”
