Last fall, we enrolled our largest and most diverse freshman class in history, and more students than ever are applying this year. Internships for our business students are up 130 percent. U.S. News & World Report advanced Adelphi seven places in their rankings for Best Colleges. We won seven Best of Long Island awards, including the Best College or University award. Our nursing students are taking classes in the new Nexus Building, which houses technology-rich classrooms and ultramodern simulation labs. Our exciting new NYC Scholars Program gives you the opportunity to spend a semester studying at our Manhattan Center while interning at one of the city’s great cultural, artistic, business or philanthropic organizations.

The NYC Scholars Program is just one example of how we’re becoming a more powerfully connected university than ever before. We’re partnering with more businesses, government offices and community groups, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities for research, internships and service learning. Our alumni—more than 90,000—say their Adelphi education positioned them for leadership roles in areas including healthcare, politics, business, and the arts and sciences. You’ll find them writing best-selling novels, dancing on Broadway, starting their own businesses and coding at Google. Many continue to be part of our Panther network as mentors.
