Caldwell University welcomes largest class, expands programs and launches sprint football

It’s a defining moment for Caldwell University as they welcome their largest freshmen class in history. The 75-year legacy of providing a quality education at an exceptiona­l value continues with the developmen­t of ground-breaking programs in the health profession­s and a BS in Sport Management. Caldwell will launch Sprint Football and a new marching band this fall that are sure to drum up team spirit.

Caldwell University offers 30 undergradu­ate majors and 30 graduate and doctorial programs, including nationally accredited programs in business, counseling, nursing, art therapy, education and applied behavior analysis.

Caldwell has made a strong commitment to the health profession­s with degrees in nursing, health science, public health education, and healthcare administra­tion. Barnes & Noble, the official campus store, is well stocked with campus apparel, bestseller­s and textbooks. The newly renovated on-campus fitness center gives students a chance to take a healthy break from studying.

On the athletic horizon, Caldwell has been accepted into the Collegiate Sprint Football League for fall of 2017. These new athletic programs will join the 15 NCAA Division II intercolle­giate sports currently offered. These programs include men’s baseball, basketball, soccer, cross country, track and field, and tennis as well as women’s basketball, lacrosse, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis, track and field, volleyball and bowling, The athletic department also sponsors a variety of recreation­al sports.
