Sex-tape actress: ‘Horrific’ abuse

- Nicole Bitette

MISCHA BARTON says she has been a victim of emotional abuse for months.

The “O.C.” star appeared on “Dr. Phil” to discuss a sex tape that is being shopped around by someone she used to love — and it’s not for money.

“It wasn’t really a threat at the time it was obvious it was complete emotional blackmail,” Barton, 39, tells Dr. Phil in an episode that airs Monday. “It was a crime. It is a serious crime to tape people without their knowledge like that and I had made the mistake of putting myself in the situation with the person so I just removed myself as quickly as I could and then it just continued to be complete emotional abuse after that for the last several, several months.”

The actress recently held a press conference with her lawyer Lisa Bloom to addresses the “horrific experience.” Barton won temporary restraining orders against her former boyfriend,

“I’m feeling that his intent is to do me harm and I keep thinking, ‘Don’t do this. Please don’t do this. Don’t make this happen,’” Shelby says.

Shelby says she opened fire on Crutcher when he reached into his car. Jon Zacharias, 30, and another man, which bar them from selling or sharing any nude images. She told Dr. Phil she learned that recordings of her during sex and in the shower shortly after she started dating Zacharias existed when someone approached her on the street.

“Somebody came up to me on the street... and said there’s something I need to tell you and I didn’t believe it at first, I couldn’t believe it,” she told Dr. Phil as her voice shook. “Because I had loved this person and I didn’t think it was possible.”
