Judge gives Reyes a pass on more kid support

THE EX-MISTRESS of Mets star Jose Reyes struck out in a bid for a child support grand slam.

Judge Lisa Williams ruled after an emotional Tuesday hearing that Reyes would continue to pay $11,500 a month to former paramour Christina Sanchez — who was seeking almost quadruple that amount.

A teary Sanchez spent some time composing herself in the ladies’ room after arriving around 2 p.m. for the Nassau County hearing.

Reyes’ appearance was waived by the judge as the two sides argued over the amount of money needed by Sanchez to raise 7-year-old Liyah. The Mets third basemen earns $22 million a year.

“There is no allegation that no support is being paid,” said Natalie Markfeld, an attorney for Sanchez. “It’s way under the amount he’s been paying the child.”

According to the Sanchez camp, the monthly payments to the 31-year-old model became smaller in early 2015 — when Reyes’ wife apparently became aware of the affair and the daughter.

The appearance was arranged for a Mets off-day, although Reyes, 33, never made it to court. After Monday’s Opening Day win, the Mets were off Tuesday before resuming their season in Citi Field on Wednesday against the Atlanta Braves.

Williams, ruling on an application by Sanchez for a gag order, declined to impose any restrictions other than to block distribution of court documents.

The two sides will return to court for a final decision from the judge.

“We are confident that the court will get to the bottom of it in a fair manner, as they did in all respects today,” said Reyes’ lawyer Samuel Ferrera.

Sanchez’s attorney Steven Gildin claimed the mother’s only income is from a rental property — a home purchased for her by Reyes, who also gifted her with trips around the globe and a new Mercedes-Benz every year.

The lawyer charged that Reyes denied Liyah’s existence at a televised news conference.

“The child has a cell phone and saw this,” said Gildin. “The only way this poor little girl could see her father was at a ball game.

Ferrera seemed unimpressed by the charge. “I appreciate the sound bites,” he said.

Sanchez was earlier admonished by Williams for showing up at court with Liyah — who apparently had early dismissal from school.

The grade school kid was kept downstairs in the courthouse day care space during Tuesday’s session.
