Packers QB Rodgers, actress Munn split up

THEIR RELATIONSHIP has reached the “end” zone.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and actress Olivia Munn have called it quits after three years together.

“(The former couple) remains close friends and wish nothing but the best for each other moving forward,” a source told People magazine on Friday, adding that the split was “amicable.”

Rodgers and Munn began dating in 2014 and soon began making public appearances together.

But their relationship reportedly caused off-field drama within Rodgers’ family.

The 33-year-old NFL star’s father, Ed, confirmed in January that his Super Bowl champion son hasn’t spoken to the family in more than two years.

A source told Us Weekly that Munn was to blame.

“When he got together with Olivia Munn, his family told him they didn’t trust her and thought she wasn’t with him for the right reasons. That made him furious, and he ended up choosing Olivia over his family,” the source told the magazine.

Munn, 36, seemed to defend the two-time NFL MVP after his team was knocked out of the playoffs later that month by sharing a handwritten note thanking fans for supporting the Packers on and off the field. “They faced a lot of adversity on and off the field, but they battled to get this far,” the actress wrote in the note posted to Instagram. “THANK YOU to those of you who encouraged and supported them by choosing to put out positive energy only.” Munn also reportedly “liked” several Instagram comments by users commending her for standing by the quarterback when his family did not. It wasn’t the first time Rodgers’ and Munn’s relationship made headlines for the wrong reasons. Some Packers fans blamed the “XMen: Apocalypse” star for the quarterback’s struggles on the field in 2015. Munn later slammed the media for publishing stories about fans’ issues with their relationship.

More recently, however, the two stars (photo) had been the subject of swirling engagement rumors multiple times.

Munn shot down speculation that Rodgers had proposed in January 2016 by posting a screen grab of a text conversation with her mom to Instagram, in which she told her not to “believe gossip on the internet.”

“If I was engaged, I promise you’d be like the 8th person to know,” Munn joked in one text.
