YANKEES: BYE,

-

The Yankees came from behind on Sunday to avoid a three-game sweep at Camden Yards. After blowing a four-run lead on Friday and a three-run lead on Saturday, the Yankees recovered from a 3-0 deficit to end their first road trip of the season with a 2-4 record. Starlin Castro (r.) delivered the go-ahead RBI single in the ninth.

Ronald Torreyes made an overthe-shoulder, Willie Mays style catch in the fourth inning to rob Jonathan Schoop of a bloop single.

Torreyes’ two-run, two-out triple brought the Yankees within 3-2 in the sixth. Torreyes leads the team with seven RBI. It was a huge hit considering they couldn’t score off Wade Miley, despite drawing seven walks against the 30-year-old lefty.

CC Sabathia became the first Yankees’ starter all season to go past the fifth inning, so it has to be him. The team has won both of the 36-year-old lefty’s outings in 2017.
