TRUMP TAX CUT IS DETAILS-FREE -

PRESIDENT TRUMP slammed an appeals court for blocking his executive order that would’ve strangled funding to sanctuary cities — even though it didn’t issue the ruling.

“First the Ninth Circuit rules against the ban & now it hits again on sanctuary cities — both ridiculous rulings. See you in the Supreme Court!” Trump wrote Wednesday morning, referring to his previously blocked ban on people entering the United States from several Muslim-majority nations.

San Francisco Federal Judge William Orrick, who issued the sanctuary cities ruling, doesn’t sit on the geographically vast Ninth Circuit. He’s a justice for the Northern District of California Court.

If the ruling is appealed, it would then go to the Ninth Circuit appeals court.

Trump tweeted that “the Ninth Circuit, which has a terrible record of being overturned (close to 80%). They used to call this ‘judge shopping!’ Messy system.”

Two lawsuits had been filed in California after Trump signed the executive order threatening to withhold funding to sanctuary cities. Orrick on Tuesday issued a temporary injunction blocking the order.

The Ninth Circuit has jurisdiction over nine states.

“There are many people that want to break up the Ninth Circuit. It's outrageous,” Trump told the Washington Examiner.
