Cops seek Bx. elevator pervert

NEW ORLEANS — Workers Thursday morning removed the statue of Confederat­e President Jefferson Davis in New Orleans, the second of four Confederat­e monuments slated for removal in a contentiou­s, months-long process that has sparked protests on both sides.

As the statue was lifted from its perch on a grassy median along one of the city’s main thoroughfa­res, a cheer went up from some of the dozens of protesters on the scene who have been pushing for the monument’s removal.

It was then lowered behind trucks encircling the monument’s base and out of view of media gathered on the scene.

Removal of the statue — a larger-than-life image of Davis atop an ornate granite pedestal roughly 15 feet high — follows recent protests at the site by supporters and opponents the monuments. of A SICKO pleasured himself in front of a 17-year-old girl and her two 4-year-old cousins in the elevator of a Bronx apartment building, police said Thursday night.

The man stalked the young victims and followed them into a building near the Grand Concourse and E. 163rd St. at about 6:30 p.m. April 30 .

Once inside the elevator, he exposed himself and ejaculated on the back of the teenager’s pants, cops said. When he was done, he took off, police said. Police on Thursday released video of the suspect (pictured), who they describe as a black man about 25 years old, wearing an Orlando Magic ballcap and white Nike sneakers.
