Reality TV star appears alongside his sister Teresa Giudice on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” — has opened up an Italian restaurant called — who (360 Route 10 West) in East Hanover, New Jersey with wife Melissa. The menu features pizza, paninis and other dishes like the “To Die For,” Italian sausage with onions, peppers and potato. The family will also sell jars of homemade marinara, vodka, and garlic and oil sauce.
There’s finally food inside the
Food Hall (265 Canal St.). The indoor shopping hub on the border of SoHo and Chinatown opened in December and now has a dozen stands serving up primarily Asian-inspired street food like dumplings, Korean barbecue, and a hybrid sushi-burrito (inset, below). East Village restaurant Ippudo offers a variety of ramen dishes here, like a creamy chicken soup with Zuzutto noodles and spicy miso paste, at its new stand
Also on the menu are dumplings and rice bowls at a new offshoot from the team behind 1920s-era dim sum empire Nom Wah Tea Parlor. is also bringing exclusive new ice cream flavors to the Market, like matcha green tea, black sesame and Thai Tea.
You’ll probably be eating burgers in backyards all summer long, but it’s worth stopping by new outdoor courtyard behind the Pod 51 Hotel (230 E. 51 St.). Chef April Bloomfield’s perfectly seasoned burgers (a patty blend from White Gold Butchers) — drenched in an umamitasting “special sauce,” topped with pickles and served between a sesame seed bun — are an instant crowd pleaser ($17 for Classic, at right). Wash them down with a summer cocktail, like the Smoky Palmer ($14), black tea infused bourbon with “wood fired” lemonade. There’s also rosé ($12).
