‘On roll’ with 13 wins as Cher, Celine shine

- BY KATE FELDMAN

RAPPER DRAKE was the big winner at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards with a record 13 trophies — but it was the women who stole the show.

Drake walked away with awards for top R&B song, top rap album and top rap tour, but all anybody could talk about when it was all over was how Cher, like the words of her song, was able to turn back time.

The 71-year-old singer, on hand to receive an Icon Award, stunned the Las Vegas crowd with her appearance as much as she did with her performance.

Wearing a sheer silver outfit, complete with purple pasties, Cher set the pace for her backup dancers, most of whom were less than half her age.

“I have wanted to do this since I was 5 years old, and I’ve been doing it for 53 years,” Cher said.

“And I can do a five-minute plank!”

Cher wasn’t the only one turning back the clock.

Celine Dion brought the crowd back to the deck of the “Titanic,” singing that movie’s theme song, “My Heart Will Go On.”

Nicki Minaj got things going with a nine-minute racy medley with a little help from her friends Jason Derulo, David Guetta and Lil Wayne.

Even Miley Cyrus shocked the crowd with an outfit that featured . . . pants.

But the night belonged to Drake, whose 13 trophies topped the 12 won by Adele at the awards show’s 2012 telecast.

Drake was also named top artist, beating out Adele, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, The Chainsmokers, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Rihanna, Twenty One Pilots and The Weeknd.

“Life is like toilet paper: Either you’re on a roll or you’re taking s--t from some a------,” Drake said on stage as he accepted the award. He was surrounded by family and friends, including his dad, Dennis Graham, Lil Wayne and Minaj.

Other top winners included Zayn for top new artist, Beyoncé as top female artist, Twenty One Pilots as top duo/group and Justin Timberlake for top radio song (“Can’t Stop the Feeling”).
