A police officer was shot on the Champs Élysées in Paris days before the French presidenti­al election, in what police said was a terror-related attack. The attacker was shot dead at the scene. STOCKHOLM: APRIL 7

Four people were killed and at least 15 injured when Rakhmat Akilov, a failed asylum seeker from Uzbekistan who said he was part of ISIS, drove a truck down a busy shopping street. LONDON: MARCH 22

A car driven by Khalid Masood hit pedestrian­s on Westminste­r Bridge, killing two men and two women and injuring many others. Masood fatally stabbed a police officer before cops killed him. ISTANBUL: JAN. 1

A mass shooting in a crowded nightclub killed 39 people and injured 70. Gunman Abdulkadir Masharipov was arrested, and ISIS claimed credit for the attack.

BERLIN: DEC. 19

A terrorist plowed a truck into a Christmas market, killing 12 people after shooting and killing the driver. The ISIS terrorist was killed four days later in Milan. FRANCE: JULY 26

ISIS “soldiers” stormed a Normandy church, slit the throat of a priest and took several hostages. The men were shot. Nice: July 14

Eighty-four people were killed when attacker Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel drove his truck through a packed area of revelers watching Bastille Day fireworks. ORLANDO: JUNE 12

Security guard Omar Mateen killed 49 people and wounded 53 in a terrorist attack and hate crime inside Pulse, a gay nightclub. Mateen, who died in a shootout with city cops, swore allegiance to ISIS in a 911 call during his siege. Brussels: March 22

A bombing in the Belgian capital killed 32 people and wounded more than 300. Two suicide bombs were placed at Brussels Airport and another at a subway station. Charlie Hebdo magazine, where cartoonist­s had mocked Islam. In related attacks over the next week, five more people were killed.
