If it’s your birthday

-

Depend on your intuition and creativity more than brute force or time expended. This isn’t about taking shortcuts, but rather, about using your intelligence to its full capacity. Much of intelligence comes from your body rather than from your mind. Pay attention to how you respond physically to people, places and things, and you’ll be that much closer to the truth. You share a birthday with Bob Dylan, Patti LaBelle and Rosanne Cash. JUNE 21-JULY 22 Do everything you do as if you’re being seen, and speak as if your words are being recorded. That will remind you to be impeccable and respectful at every turn. If you must vent frustration, do so before you reach the boiling point. Listen to your body; it’s a little smarter than you. JULY 23-AUG. 22 There’s an artificial line between the “more important” and “less important” people in most companies. Most of that is due to human nature. Most managers expect employees to slack off, and employees expect managers to be jerks. All of this is unnecessary, and today you’re in a position to help. AUG. 23-SEPT. 22 Tomorrow is the new moon in Gemini, which is your career and reputation angle. Today is the day to plan your goals for the coming six months or so. That means aim high. Also, remember that you seem to have two careers going at once. You need to get them working together. SEPT. 23-OCT. 22 Use your imagination in matters of love and passion. The problem with so many relationships is that they lack creativity; you’re in the perfect position to bring this into the picture. Note your dreams and fantasies, and take steps to make them real. That is to say: Speak up. OCT. 23-NOV. 21 Your life is leading you in a particular direction, and you’d be wise to follow. All your cells seem to be guiding you toward one thing that you want to accomplish. You may be hesitating today, though by the end of the week, you’ll be blessed with authentic certainty. NOV. 22-DEC. 21 People who may have been needlessly pushy or stubborn with you are now ready to negotiate or have a civilized conversation. People only do this because they want to, though they have their reasons; one of which is that you’re so compelling, they don’t want to lose you as a friend. DEC. 22-JAN. 19 As a wise person once wrote, “Expectations kill relationships.” This is for many reasons, including the confinement they create, and the spontaneous experiences that they block. Be willing to venture into the unknown and the unplanned. Let your love be new every day. JAN. 20-FEB. 18 People earn money by selling their time, their labor or their ideas. You do a mix of all three, though your greatest value to the world is that you’re able to think in concepts and in possibilities. That’s actual creativity: seeing what does not yet exist, then manifesting it. FEB. 19-MARCH 20 If you’ve begun any homeimprovement projects recently, now is the time to draw them to completion. Make what contractors call a punch-list and start punching off the items. Make a special effort to get rid of what you don’t need and don’t want. Tidy up, and open the curtains and windows.
