THE SISTER OF a woman murdered in Brooklyn by her estranged fugitive husband told a chilling account of the killer copping to fatally shooting her.

Gisel Mora said her mother called desperately into the night on Friday in Sea Gate, looking for her daughter Iveliss Alvarado-Genao.

“My mom comes out screaming her name and looking for her, and he’s right directly in front of the house with the gun in his hand,” said Mora, who is married to former New York Met Melvin Mora.

“He says, ‘I killed her.’ And that’s when he took off,” said a sobbing Gisel Mora.

“If someone sees him, please turn him in,” Melvin Mora said. “Please help the family.”

Authorities allege that Gabino Genao, 30, shot AlvaradoGenao twice in the face outside her relatives’ house after she rejected his attempt at reconciling their marriage.

“He looked my mom directly in the face and told her that he killed her. He has no soul,” Gisel Mora added.

The search for Genao entered its third day Monday. His father, Gabino Genao Sr., told the Daily News on Monday that he hasn’t heard from his son over the past 24 hours.

“I know in my heart that he’s going to turn himself in,” Genao Sr. said from his Brooklyn home. “I know that when he sees my plea, he’ll do it. I know my son. It’s the best for both families.

“There will be no more blood,” he added. “He will face justice.”

Genao Sr. said even though the couple’s relationship was troubled, he was devastated to see it end so tragically.

“They fought every day,” Genao Sr. said. “It’s sad that it all ended this way. His mother is in the hospital. She wants to kill herself. This is too much for her.”

The couple had only recently married, according to the victim’s relatives.

Genao Jr. has a long history of violence. He has been arrested 14 times since 2005 on charges that include assault, aggravated harassment and robbery, officials said.

He spent two years in prison after an assault conviction in 2007.
