A-Rod tied to steamy-text and extort story
J-ROD MAY have hit its first speed bump.
The romance between former Yankee Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez got a jolt Wednesday after a National Enquirer story said that A-Rod exchanged sexually explicit texts with an old flame last month.
TMZ also published a separate report that said Rodriguez is the alleged victim of an “ex from hell” who is “threatening to expose private messages” if Rodriguez does not pay her $600,000.
The TMZ report does not name the woman, but said that she and Rodriguez broke up in 2014, and that it was “more of a fling” than a long-term relationship.
Rodriguez, who has dated actresses Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz, was seeing former WWE diva Torrie Wilson in 2014 before they broke up in early 2015.
Sources told the Daily News that fitness model Lauren Hunter — who was named in the Enquirer report as the woman exchanging the racy texts with Rodriguez — is allegedly his former paramour whom TMZ claims was out to get paid.
Hunter could not be reached. Rodriguez’s spokesman did not return a call for comment.
According to TMZ, the woman surfaced in the former Yankee’s life again when he was linked to Lopez.
The Enquirer report, meanwhile, said that Hunter and Rodriguez met in 2011 and stayed in touch. The report said that on May 10, Rodriguez texted Hunter that he missed her, and then a day later, he sent a text requesting Hunter send him a video of her committing a lewd act.
According to the Enquirer report, Hunter said Rodriguez offered her $20,000 to have a threesome with him and another woman.
Rodriguez has two daughters with ex-wife Cynthia, while J.Lo has twins with her ex, the singer Marc Anthony. J.Lo posted a photo on her Instagram account Sunday of her and Rodriguez in a pool with their children.
“Happy Sunday everybody!! #sundayfunday,” read the post.
