‘Tired’ of charter

A MOM barred from a Success Academy charter school for cursing in front of kids said Wednesday she’ll never apologize — and is now pulling her other child out of the city’s biggest charter network.

Success Academy doubled down on its requirement that she say she’s sorry — claiming the mom used Fbombs and deserves zero tolerance.

The dispute heated up as the school temporarily waived the banishment of parent Latasha Battle, 40, and allowed her to attend her son’s fourth-grade graduation at Success Academy’s Cobble Hill school in Brooklyn.

“There’s a lot of issues I have with this school, and I’m honestly tired,” Battle said as she awaited the start of the ceremony in the school’s auditorium.

Battle says on April 26, parents and students were stuck standing in the rain because the school wouldn’t budge from its policy of keeping the doors shut until 7:35 a.m. sharp.

When the doors opened, she said, “It’s a damn shame the school made these kids stand rain.”

Hours later, school Principal Brittany Davis-Roberti sent Battle a letter barring her from school property “until you schedule an appointment with me to apologize for your behavior and pledge that it will not happen again.” in the pouring

Battle refused to say sorry and was forced to pick up her two children from the kindergartenthrough-fourth-grade school at the front entrance every day while all the other kids were released into the school yard. She said Roberti didn’t speak with her again until Tuesday — only after the Daily News asked questions about the incident.

“She hasn’t called me the whole entire time since she told me I had to apologize. I said I’m not apologizing, so you need to hang that up. And then all of the sudden . . . she calls me and I hung up on her.”

Still furious at her treatment by the school, Battle said after her 10-year-old son, Joshua, graduates, she’ll withdraw her daughter, Jada, who’s in third grade.

“I’m leaving. I’m taking my children and I’m never coming back no more,” she said.
