A 46-YEAR-OLD man was shot to death while pumping gas in Brooklyn Saturday, cops said.

The victim was filling up a white Chevy Silverado at the BP on Atlantic Ave. near Utica Ave. in Crown Heights when he was blasted once in the chest around noon, police said

The BP clerk said the victim had just paid for $40 of gas and used the bathroom before the shooting.

“He went back outside and put the nozzle in his car,” said the clerk, who declined to give his name. “I turned back to the register and that’s when I heard the pop. . . The man had a look of shock on his face and then he basically collapsed.”

“He was crawling on his hands and knees,” said Hector Sanabria, 27, who works across the street at an AutoZone. “There was just blood coming out of his chest.”

Medics rushed the victim, whose name was not released, to Kings County Hospital but he could not be saved. Cops were looking for two men who ran off on Atlantic Ave. Surveillance footage revealed the victim pushed one of the men before he was shot, the BP clerk said.
