Shows and spas under one roof
With three casinos, 80 outlet shops, three entertainment venues, two luxurious hotel towers and an indoor 55-foot waterfall — what else could you need? Since its 1996 debut, Mohegan Sun continues to up its game with a packed calendar of cool summer events. A weeklong celebration of classic cars (starting June 21) will include an auction of very rare collector’s cars including a 2017 Ferrari Spider. A special edition of the New England Food Truck Festival rolls out on Sept. 2 and 3. levels. But there’s a lot more to lure you this summer, starting with a terrific New York-inspired music series.
Get out your leisure suit for “A Night at Studio 54” (July 8), a dance celebration hosted by New York DJ John “Jellybean” Benitez. The classic-soul Rhythm Revue Roseland Reunion dance party shakes it up on July 22. And a freestyle reunion happens July 29, with performances by hometown heroes like George Lamond, Lisette Melendez, Judy Torres and Brenda K. Starr.
New York City's only casino is easily accessible by public transportation, and there are free shuttles from Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.
