Braves draft Yank exec’s kid

Ricky Negron, son of longtime Yankees executive Ray Negron, was selected by the Braves as a 34th-round pick in last week’s Major League Draft.

A third baseman, Negron played the last two seasons at the University of Tampa after transferring from Auburn.

Negron, 22, starred at Babylon High School, helping the school win the Long Island championship in 2011 and 2012. — John Harper
