Jone dance won’t be partner dating.
The “Dancing With the Stars” standout (photo inset) told us he has a history of hooking up with dance partners. But Lopez, the “World of Dance” colleague with whom he famously had a danceoff on “The Ellen Show” in April, is spoken for by
— whom Hough calls “a great guy.”
“He’s awesome!” Hough gushed at an NBC event near Central Park. And according to Hough, he has an “in” with the former Yankee slugger.
“He actually came up to me and was like, “My daughter’s a huge fan of yours,’ ” said Hough. It’s unclear if A-Rod was talking about his daughter ,9,or 12. “I was like, ‘Cool,’ and he was like, ‘Can I get a picture with you?’ ”
Whether or not Hough will be dancing at a J.Lo and A-Rod wedding is anyone’s guess.
“I certainly have no place to say that,” he said. “My sister’s getting married soon, so that’s the only wedding bell I’m hearing right now.”
His sister, dancer ,is slated to tie the knot July 8, which is the same day her “Dancing with the Stars” co-stars and
are getting married. What the future holds for him personally is unclear, but interested candidates can meet Hough on the dance floor. “I always used to date my partners,” he confessed. “Whoever I was dancing with, I fell in love with. That was always the case.”
Hough admits that’s an occupational hazard, though he seems to have come out OK.
“They always say, ‘Never date your partner,’ and I always dated my partner,” he said. Though Hough, 32, has been participating in dance competitions since he was 12, he and his partners never had as much at stake as the contestants on NBC’s “World of Dance,” where he and fellow judges Lopez, and host
will decide who advances in the “duels” competition on Tuesday.
“I don’t know the feeling of competing for a million dollars, I don’t know what that’s like,” he said. When (I used to) compete, it’s for a plastic trophy and that’s about it.” We have the scoop on Daily News reporter spotted the funnyman at a Dairy Queen in Teaneck, N.J., on Saturday, where the comedian (inset), his wife, and their 4-yearold daughter were grabbing a snack. Greene said hi and Morgan talked about enjoying “family time.” On Sunday, Morgan posted a Twitter photo of himself and his wife with and his wife, at an event and noted in the caption it was an “important and private conversation.”
